Billings police say they’re still chasing leads in a murder case that left a man dead near Central Park in late April.
Now charging documents are giving a better understanding of what led to the deadly shooting.
Brett Ness, 24, died from a gunshot wound to the head April 27 in the driveway of a home on Florine Lane.
Since then, police say they’ve been following up on leads in order to arrest the person responsible for Ness’ death.
One woman, 18-year-old Raisha Blacksmith, was already arrested in connection with the homicide case and charged with felony obstruction.
Court documents say Blacksmith saw the shooting and allowed the shooter in her car and then drove the shooter to a home near Terry and Central avenue.
Prosecutors say police are reviewing video footage from a nearby buildings that shows five people getting out of two cars before Ness was shot.
