Billings police are investigating a shooting Friday afternoon.
According to Assistant Chief Jeremy House, shortly before 3:30 p.m. a man flagged down a Yellowstone County deputy in front of the car wash at 1233 Broadwater Ave. to tell him he had been shot.
The victim, who is 43, was rushed by ambulance to a Billings hospital with a gun shot wound to the abdomen.
House said the victim gave a brief description of who shot him before being taken to the hospital.
