The FBI is investigating human remains found on the Crow reservation Thursday, the agency announced Friday.
The FBI released few details in a news release, stating that the agency's Evidence Response Team is working to recover the remains and process the location.
The FBI did not identify where the remains were found.
The FBI is jointly working the case with the Billings Police Department and the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs.
The agency said it is not releasing more information.
