Man walks away from Missoula Pre-Release Center

MISSOULA - Authorities are looking for a man who left the Missoula Pre-Release Center early Tuesday

Michael McCormick, 29, walked away from the Missoula Pre-Release Center at approximately 1 a.m.

He is a Native American male who is 5’10” tall, weighs 210 pounds and has a stocky build. He has brown hair and green eyes.

He has a noticeable tattoo on the right side of his neck that says “Momma’s Boy.”

McCormick was last seen wearing a white shirt with a colored horizontal stripe across the front, dark pants and white tennis shoes

He has a felony conviction out of Yellowstone County and is serving four year sentence for failure to register as a violent offender.

Anyone with information about McCormick is asked to please contact local law enforcement.

A felony warrant for escape has been issued for McCormick.
