BILLINGS - Authorities on Monday released the name of a Billings woman killed in a hit-and-run.
Yellowstone County Coroner Cliff Mahoney said 66-year-old Shelley Bales was the pedestrian killed Friday night when she was struck by a vehicle on Rimrock Road.
Police said the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The vehicle was later identified as a maroon 2005 Chevrolet Siverado and a 22-year-old man was identified as a possible suspect, but police have not announced any arrests in the case as of early Monday afternoon.
