Authorities have a suspect in the shooting threat of Billings West High School and do not believe the school is in danger.
The suspect is a Billings West student and was interviewed by law enforcement and released to parents, Billings Police Lt. Brandon Wooley said in a Friday news release.
The FBI developed the lead, then questioned the suspect with Billings West's school resource officer.
Law enforcement is not looking for any other suspects, but the investigation continues, Wooley said.
