A member or members of the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force shot and killed a suspect on the 700 block of Cook Avenue in Billings Thursday night, according to Billings police.
Few other details were available on the incident that happened around 6:35 p.m. Thursday, according to Billings Assistant Police Chief Jeremy House.
The marshals were attempting the apprehend the suspect at the residence when the incident occurred, House said.
Cook Avenue between Seventh and Eighth street is blocked off as Billings police investigate, House said.
No police officers or bystanders were injured.
