Authorities in Rosebud County say they believe they have recovered a vehicle stolen from Columbus High School during a massive locker room theft during a football game last fall.

The Rosebud County Sheriff's Office posted photos of the 2013 BMW stuck in a snow-filled ditch on its Facebook page.

Deputies did not indicate exactly where the vehicle was found in Rosebud County or whether it contained any stolen merchandise.

Columbus police say the vehicle was one of two stolen Sept. 20, along with phones, wallets, sets of keys and backpacks belonging to coaches and players while they were on the field.

Two men, Dalton Hilliard, 21 of Billings, and Grant Russell, 23 of Bozeman, were charged in Rosebud County in connection with the thefts.

They were arrested Sept. 21 after crashing a different car they stole, police said.
