BILLINGS — A woman was stabbed by another woman Thursday afternoon in downtown Billings and taken to the hospital, according to Billings police.
Billings Police Lt. Brian Krivitz called the incident an argument between "two transients" in a tweet.
The incident happened at 3:36 p.m. at the 2500 block of First Avenue North.
Krivitz described the victim's injuries as "non-life-threatening."
Police know the suspect and are searching for her, he said.
20-54028 1536 hrs at 2500 1 Ave N. Adult female stabbed by another female. There was an argument b/w two transients about a previous dispute. Vic taken to hospital by AMR. Injures were not life threatening. Suspect is known to police and is being sought. Lt. Krivitz
