The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office is warning of a new scam aiming to exploit the "Defund the Police" movement.
A caller claiming to be from the sheriff's office is asking the public for money to support the sheriff's office in the face of the national movement to cut funding for law enforcement.
The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office is not asking for money nor employing anyone asking for money.
