A new wildfire was reported Friday in Sheridan County in northern Wyoming.
The Elk fire grew to 27 acres during the day north of Riley Point and west of Ranchester, according to the Tongue River Fire District.
A 20-person crew with engines and a helitack crew are responding, according to the fire district.
