A local Helena photographer celebrated five years in business. Kevin League hosted a grand opening of his new, permanent gallery this weekend in Downtown Helena to celebrate the anniversary.

For League, having a full-time space to display his work is the first within his five years in business. League has numerous awards for his work of capturing Montana sceneries. As of Friday, November 27, League has already sold half of his work on display.

He says he is grateful to be a part of a supportive community.

"The community has welcomed me with open arms and has provided me with an amazing platform, not only on social media, but now here as part of the gallery,” League said. “I’m elated at how successful I’ve been able to, be to this point where I can actually open a space and host art on these walls for years to come.”

League’s new gallery celebration will continue until 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29.
