Over the past couple of weeks, many churches have been holding online-only services with people barred from large social gatherings.
But First Baptist in downtown found a way to see its congregation in person on Sunday.
Church members greeted each other at a spiritual car wash.
Those driving stayed in their cars, and picked up some some necessities such as hand sanitizer and a goody bag.
But the main reason for the drive through was for good words from the Pastor.
"We're here, we're with you," said Pastor Ross Lieuallen. "We hope people will come down to see us this afternoon. We're going to pray for people. Just make it a 30 second prayer blessing. We're experiencing our faith in a different arena so to speak, so this is kind of re-cooping some of that people connection."
About 30 cars, many with more than one person, made it through the 1st Baptist parking lot.
