Billings' two AMC movie theaters are scheduled to reopen within the next 10 days.
The movie chain announced Wednesday that Billings Shiloh Crossing location will open Thursday, Aug. 27, one of 170 theaters reopening nationwide. The Rimrock Mall theater will reopen a week later on Sept. 3.
Tickets are only $5 for the first films shown when the theater opens Thursday. All titles will be older films.
The theaters will also have additional regulations to protect against the spread of COVID-19. The capacity will be reduced to 40 percent or less, and all movie goers will be required to wear masks at all times unless consuming concessions.
