LAUREL – A 21-year-old man from Red Lodge died Sunday after a two-vehicle accident near Laurel on US 212 around 8:30 a.m.

Yellowstone County Coroner Cliff Mahoney identified the man as Liam Morse.

Montana Highway Patrol said Morse was driving a Chevy Suburban northbound on US 212 when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed over the center line for unknown reasons.

He collided head on with a semi driven by a 54-year-old man from Billings.

The semi veered off and ended up in the northbound ditch, while the suburban rolled and came to rest in the southbound ditch.

Morse was pronounced dead at the scene. Drugs are considered a factor in the crash.
