BILLINGS- Pumpkin spice lattes are a staple item for some people during the fall season.
On Tuesday, Starbucks announced the early launch of the seasonal drink Pumpkin Spice Latte.
It’s the earliest release date ever for the Seattle-based coffee giant’s popular fall drink, and it has Billings coffee shop owners mulling whether they should spice up their own menus.
“Pumpkin spice is generally a fall thing, even though it’s not quite fall yet, but we are trying to just give our customers what they are asking for,” said Joel Gargaro, the owner of Rock Creek coffee roasters. “They will come in and ask for it because Starbucks has it. They will come in and ask us, so we like to accommodate them.”
Moav Coffee House owner, Jeff Hosa says, “We won’t be doing anything soon especially drinks that we have that are seasonal. We try and wait until fall.”
