BILLINGS – The Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing man.
Cameron Collin, 37, was last seen at approximately 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at a residence in the 5100 block of Pryor Road, the sheriff’s office states in a press release issued Tuesday morning.
Investigators believe Collin walked away from the residence and may have attempted to walk to Billings.
Sheriff Mike Linder said there is no evidence of foul play at this time.
Collin is described as a white male, 6-feet, 5-inches tall, about 200 pounds with a skinny build and a noticeable gap between his front teeth.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, cowboy boots and a black, long-sleeve T-shirt with “Affliction” on front.
Collin is from Canada but does have some familiarity with the area. Friends and residents in the area have searched the property and surrounding area with no luck, the press release states.
Yellowstone County Sheriff’s deputies along with Search and Rescue personnel have conducted an extensive ground and air search of the area. Cutting Edge K-9 provided search dogs.
The sheriff’s office specifically asks residents along Pryor Creek and Pryor Creek Road to check their property, including Pryor Creek and any buildings, for any signs of Collin.
Anyone who may have any information as to Collin’s whereabouts, or may have seen someone matching this description walking on Hwy 87 east, Pryor road or Blue creek road late Thursday night or Friday Morning, is asked to contact the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office at 406-256-2929.
