BILLINGS – Law enforcement is responding to numerous slide-offs and accidents in the Billings area, including on Interstate 90.
In Billings, westbound traffic was at a standstill at the south 27th Street exit off of I-90 at around 7:45 a.m.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports an injury accident occurred on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 446 at about 8:20 a.m.
The Billings Police Department has activated its “slick streets” policy, which means officers will only respond to injury accidents.
Tuesday morning snowfall has made roads slick in the area.
