BILLINGS – A new restaurant is opening up downtown Billings in a building filled with history.

The Firehouse Restaurant and Bakery is located in the old O’Donnell Firehouse built in 1929.

The name pays homage to those firemen and indicates the type of food they serve.

Ryan Hall and his wife took over the business from Rudeboyz and renamed it to reflect their cuisine.

The Firehouse will feature spicy food from around the world, like a coconut curry pork, Pablano pepper burgers, and wasabi alfredo dishes.

“We joined the Downtown Billings Alliance in September and I know those guys have a lot of big plans for downtown, and I know that a lot of the stuff they have aren’t out for public knowledge yet and some of it is pretty exciting,” said Ryan Hall, The Firehouse Restaurant and Bakery co-owner. “So I’m excited to be part of the reengergizing of downtown Billings.”

The business is excited to get involved in the community and has plans to sponsor local sports teams.

They are also excited to decorate the restaurant with tributes to law enforcement, emergency services, and military.

The Firehouse is located at 2401 2nd Avenue North.

Friday is their grand opening, and they open at 11 a.m.
