Update 8:50 p.m. Walmart has reopened about 8:30 p.m., according to a store employee.
Police searched the building but found no evidence of a bomb.
BILLINGS- The Walmart at the corner of King Avenue West and 24th Street West was evacuated Friday night after a bomb threat, according to store employees and police.
At 7:30 p.m., clerks at the store told shoppers, including an off-duty Q2 employee, to evacuate.
About 100 people were in the store. Customers were forced to leave groceries at checkout stands and leave.
Billings police said the decision to evacuate was Walmart’s. Officers are at the scene.
