JOLIET- A head-on collision between a semi truck and a van closed both lanes Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 212 between Joliet and Rockvale, but the soutbound lane has since opened.
Two people were injured and transported to a Billings hospital.
The Montana Department of Transportation said in a news release that an alternate route is recommended, and the roadway is scattered wet.
The crash took place at 4:40 p.m., and the southbound lanes opened around 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect slow going for at least an hour, according to the highway patrol.
