BILLINGS- Firefighters are responding to a fire Wednesday afternoon in Lockwood near Yellowstone River.

According to the Lockwood Fire Department, three units including a water tender, a wildland truck and a ladder truck responded to the call on Cerise Road. The call said there were fuel pumps closeby and the flames driven by winds were approaching.

Q2 News’ chief photographer on scene reports officials said the fire started in the back of an RV.

Reports of flames shooting high into the air were coming into dispatchers as crews headed out to fight the fire.

From I-Cam video, the fire appears to be east of MetraPark.

This a developing story.
