Circle man killed in weekend crash identified

GLENDIVE – The man killed in a two-vehicle crash in Glendive on Sunday has been identified.

Gary Wanger, 80, of Circle was killed while driving on Montana Highway 200.

Montana Highway Patrol said Wanger crashed into the side of the tractor and flatbed trailer that was attempting to turn from the I-94 off ramp.

Troopers said Wanger was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, a 32-year-old from North Dakota, was not injured. A 20-year-old male passenger also walked away without any injuries. Troopers said both were wearing their seat belts.
