BILLINGS – The Grindhouse gym has opened a new location in the west end of Billings after a late November fire heavily damaged the previous one.

On Tuesday, the gym received a $21,000 donation from Fusion Fight League ‘s “Fight for a Cause.”

“I kind of love it. I love what has happened because of it. I was sad to lose my location. I had a really big gym with everything you need to train for everybody, but now moving out here we are able to partner with Yellowstone CrossFit. They share the building with us” said the owner Will Grundhauser. “It’s amazing that our community reached out. It’s going to be a long time before we get money for insurance or lawsuits or anything else like that so it’s a godsend.”

On Nov. 28, a fire blazed through the building that housed the Habitat for Humanity ReStore and the Grindhouse

Since then, the community has been helping in any way they can to help get the companies back on their feet.

Fusion Fight League held its “Fight for a Cause” benefit to raise money for the Grindhouse in December, and on Tuesday, presented the check to the owners of Grindhouse.
