BILLINGS – The Billings Fire Department extinguished a garage fire Monday morning at 1913 Alderson Ave.
The fire was reported at 9:36 a.m.
The detached garage was fully involved when crews arrived at the scene.
No other structures were damaged.
An investigation on the cause is underway.
The Billings Police Department has a section of the alley surrounding the garage closed off while the fire department conducts its investigation.
A battalion chief at the scene said it did not appear anyone was in the garage when the fire broke out and they didn’t believe anyone was at home.
