BILLINGS – In a brief, but promising Facebookpost, Guido’s Pizza announced its return to Billings.

Although the exact location wasn’t revealed, the post says it plans to reopen downtown. The pizzeria next to Pug Mahon’s shut down suddenly last month afterPug’s longtime owner, Bill MacIntyre, died suddenly. The three businesses inside the building on First Avenue North, Pug’s, Guido’s and the Bookie casino, were shuttered within days.

An exact open date for Guido’s hasn’t been announced. An administrator of the Facebook page said Guido’s wanted to wait until an official, signed lease was in hand to announce more details.

That administrator also said another restaurant was in the works and is slated to be open by mid-week.

Guido’s was owned by  Alyssa Landsverk, who took over the pizzeria a little over a year ago.

This location, a Mexican restaurant, will be at Peppers on the Billings West End.

It was referred to as “Montaña Mesa at Peppers.”
