Frozen pipe closes main entrance at Rimrock Mall

UPDATE 3:50 p.m.: Rimrock Mall Marketing Director Daron Olson says crews are working through the night to repair the thousands of dollars in damage to the mall.

He says an “initial, conservative estimate” is sitting around $30,000 in damages, but it’s still early.

Two businesses, Jensen Jewelers and Magic City Formal Wear, closed Wednesday due to the proximity to the main entrance, as well as for the safety of employees and patrons.

The current plan is to have the wheelchair-accessible doors at the main entrance reopened by opening time tomorrow morning.

However, Olson also reiterated that all other entrances to the mall are open and that it is, “business as usual,” at the mall.
