BILLINGS- School District 2 in Billings and Montana State University Billings both announced early Wednesday afternoon they will resume classes on Thursday.

Both called off classes Wednesday due to cold and snow.  School District 2 Supeintendent Greg Upham says they will monitor the forecast for the next several days.

“With the predicted weather forecast, Billings Public Schools will resume normal school operations tomorrow, Thursday, February 28.  We will continue to closely monitor the weather the remainder of the week.  Please continue to check the district website for updates,” said Upham.

The National Weather Service says periods of accumulating snow will continue through Friday night.  Another 5-9 inches of snow is expected through Friday.  This weekend will bring another round of bitter cold.
