BILLINGS- It’s that time of year to get ready for remodeling projects.

The 36th Annual Spring Home Improvement Show started at Metrapark Friday afternoon.

More than 650 booths filled the Expo Center and the Montana Pavilion.

Show producer Mark Hedin also puts on a fall show.

The spring show is timed to find contractors.

“If you want to get your projects going this spring, now is the time to come down here and get on the list and get them done,” said Hedin. “If you don’t, they’re going to be so booked up that you’re going to have to wait until late fall or next spring.”

The show features indoor and outdoor ideas.

“I like the outdoors going into the spring season,” Hedin said. “We really feel comfortable in our own houses so we want to make it as enjoyable as possible. There are so many things out here to make your house more enjoyable.”

The three-day Home Improvement Show also runs Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is free at the Expo Center and the Montana Pavilion.
