World Water Day celebration will be held at Art House Cinema and Pub

BILLINGS – March 22 is World Water Day, and the Art House Cinema and Pub will be hosting the event Leaving No One Behind Tuesday, March 19, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The event will feature a 20-minute documentary film, “One Water” and Helena Mayor Wilmot Collins will be talking about his life in West Africa, immigration to the U.S. and becoming a politician in Montana.

The event is free and donations will go directly to water development in Uganda.

What is World Water Day?

World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance day that highlights the importance of freshwater. The theme for World Water Day 2019 is “Water For All – Leaving No One Behind”. About 2 billion people still live without safe drinking water at home; affecting their health, education, and livelihoods. The UN has set a goal of achieving clean water for all persons on the planet by 2030.
