Billings gym to host benefit for Montana trooper shot in line of duty

BILLINGS – An event benefiting the Montana Highway Patrol trooper who was shot in the line of duty will be held in Billings on Friday.

Trooper Wade Palmer was shot in the head in Evaro earlier this month, and has been in a Salt Lake City Hospital since.

Alternative Athletics will host the all-day benefit with a ‘Trooper Palmer’ workout, and food and drinks from 5-7 p.m.

They are asking the community to come out and recognize those who serve, and to make donations to the Palmer family.

All donations will go to the Palmers to help cover the medical costs of the stay in Salt Lake.

Alternative Athletics is located at 808 4th Ave. N. in Billings.
