BELFRY- Several Carbon County fires agencies responded to a late Thursday morning structure fire that destroyed a building and a camper trailer.
Carbon County Undersheriff Jeff Schmaltz said the fire started at about 10:56 a.m. at a residence on Talon Trail, close to the Wyoming border.
The structure was a house that no one was living in with a camper next to it.
The camper and the structure were a total loss, said Schmaltz.
One person was living in the camper and they were not home at the time. No one was living in the other building.
Fire crews from Belfry, Bridger, Red Lodge and a crew from Clark, Wyoming all helped fight the fire.
No word on what caused the fire.
