Billings heroes honored at annual luncheon

BILLINGS – The Downtown Exchange Club honored four of Billings’ first responders at a Tuesday afternoon luncheon.

In its 61st year, the Heroes Luncheon paid homage to members of the Billings Police Department, Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol and Billings Fire Department.

Those honored were: Officer Gabrielle Denio of the Billings Police Department, Lieutenant Tim Siegle of the Yellowstone County Sheriffs Department, Trooper Justin Moran of the Montana Highway Patrol and Captain Kevin Bents of the Billings Fire Department.

Each honoree was presented the award by their respective superior.

 

Downtown Exchange Club Heroes Luncheon

The Downtown Exchange Club added in a post on its Facebook, “Every day, the brave men and women of our Police, Sheriff, Fire, and Highway Patrol departments risk their lives for all of us. Thank you to our law enforcement and firefighters for the ultimate ‘customer service’ you provide to our community. Today, the Downtown Exchange Club recognized the heroes of our city and their families for exemplary service. We are so grateful for the sacrifices you make!”
