BILLINGS- Northwestern Energy will be getting even more help from the sun to power homes in Montana.
Northwestern Energy announced its purchasing the energy from Meadowlark Solar, a 20-megawatt solar project to be developed near Billings.
The contract will help Northwestern Energy fulfill its renewable power obligations.
The solar project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
