BILLINGS – Hundreds gathered Sunday night in Billings to Line the Rims in Red.
The event was meant to bring awareness to the issue of missing and murdered indigenous people.
Organizers said the event was also meant to symbolize a transition in their cause – from “women” to “people” to be more inclusive of all indigenous people.
Now, the MSUB Native American Achievement Center is asking those in attendance to share their photos of the event as part of a social media contest.
The photo with the most likes will then be used to promote events in the future.
