BILLINGS- Alcohol appears to have been a factor in a crash that injured a pedestrian in downtown Billings Tuesday evening.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. near the courthouse on North 27th Street. Medics were loading the victim into the ambulance.

It’s not known at this point how seriously the man might have been hurt, but he was rushed to the hospital.

The driver of the Ford Explorer Sport Track was given a sobriety test at the scene and taken into custody in handcuffs. Beer bottles were also seen lying on the street that appeared to have come from the vehicle.

Authorities have not said if the woman is facing charges.
