Investigation continues into shooting death of girl in Billings Heights

BILLINGS- Police are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a 15-year-old girl in Billings Heights over the weekend, and local schools are bringing in counseling resources.

Billings Police Lt. Brandon Wooley told Q2 News in an email Monday that no charges have been filed or arrests made, and police are still determining the nature of the girl’s death.

Police have said there’s no threat to the public.

Skyview High School, Medicine Crow Middle School and Beartooth Elementary School all have counselors available for students, Wooley said.
