IOWA – Montana Governor Steve Bullock crossed Iowa today during his first full day of campaigning for president.

Bullock left Des Moines this morning in a rainstorm and headed east to the cities of Newton and Tama.  Bullock spent the day talking to voters and taking questions from several meet and greets.  He also met with the tribal community of the Meskwaki Settlement.

He will finish his day in Dubuque with a fundraising event.  Yesterday the campaign announced they had raised over $1 million in their first 24 hours.  They also picked up the endorsement of the state’s attorney general Tom Miller.

MTN political reporter Mike Dennison is traveling with Governor Bullock and will have a full report on our evening newscasts.
