SHEPHERD – A $17 million school bond in Shepherd failed earlier this month and now school officials are back to the drawing board to find a path forward.

Three meetings will be held over the course of the next few weeks to allow community members to express their opinions on the plans.  The district is currently looking for ways to cut down the amount they are asking for to improve their chances for success.

The meetings will be held May 21, June 4 and June 11.  All three meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Shepherd High School gym.

The district hopes to have a revised bond in front of voters in the fall.
