BILLINGS – Montana State University has named Elaine Labach, Ph.D., as the dean of the College of Business according to a press release Friday.
Labach holds a Ph.D. in operations management from Indiana University School of Business; she also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Wayne State University.
“We look forward to having Dr. Labach’s leadership in the College of Business,” said MSU Billings Provost Melinda Arnold. “She will work to further strengthen and expand our relationships with the business community in Billings and eastern Montana.”
Labach will officially start on July 8, taking over from Ed Garding who has served as the interim dean since 2018.
