BILLINGS – The Billings Fire Department responded to a report of a garage fire at a home on Highway 87.
The call came in around 12:30 pm on Tuesday.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a detached garage completely engulfed in flames.
Battalion Chief Jason Lyon tells Q2 the crews were able to get the fire knocked out quickly and only minor damage was done to a nearby shed.
Traffic was slowed in the area as crews worked to extinguish the fire.
The garage is a total loss.
BFD has not determined the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
