Fatal two-vehicle crash near Shiloh Road and Central Avenue

UPDATE 10:27 p.m. – Billings Police Sergeant Ben Milam confirmed with Q2 a 19-year-old male motorcycle rider has died following a collision with a pickup truck on Shiloh Road Sunday.

Sgt. Milam said the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Shiloh Road and ran into the front of a pickup truck turning left from the southbound lanes.

The force of the impact threw the motorcycle rider, killing him.

The motorcycle came to rest on the roof of the pickup truck.

The rider was wearing a helmet.

Detours are still in place on Shiloh Road between Central Avenue and Broadwater Avenue while Billings Police investigate the crash.

BILLINGS – One person is dead tonight after a motorcycle collided with a truck on the 300 block of Shiloh Road.

According to a tweet from the Billings Police department, all Northbound and Southbound traffic on Shiloh Road between Central and Broadwater Avenue is being diverted.

Police will be on scene and the alternate routes will continue for the next several hours.

Officers are still investigating the accident and KTVQ.com will have updates when available.
