BILLINGS – Wednesday is the day Vice President Mike Pence touches down in Billings.
Pence is set to arrive around noon, and drivers are going to experience some traffic delays and closures during his visit.
All intersections along North 27th Street will be closed as a motorcade takes Pence from the airport to his first stop at RiverStone Health.
The same will happen as he makes his next two stops on the city’s north side then the west end.
His final stop will be the DoubleTree in downtown in midafternoon.
The area surrounding the hotel will be closed for 24 hours, but foot traffic will still be allowed.
Anyone staying at the hotel will go through a screening process.
Other intersections will be closed starting at 9 a.m. and marked with signs.
