BILLINGS – According to a press release Monday, Living Independently for Today and Tomorrow (LIFTT), will be teaming up with the University of Montana Rural Institute, and the American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) to welcome a new research program from The National Institutes of Health (NIH) called “All of Us” to Billings July 9 through 12.

The Journey Bus will be stopping in Billings at the Rimrock Mall from Tuesday, July 9 through Friday, July 12. It will be open from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm.

All of Us is a new research program from the NIH whose goal is to advance precision medicine or health care that is based on the individual. It considers factors like where you live, what you do, and your family health history. To get there, one million or more Americans of different backgrounds volunteer to participate.

Those who join will share information about their health over time. Researchers will study this data, and what they learn could improve health for generations to come.

It is an interactive, hands-on exhibit where visitors learn about precision medicine and can choose to contribute personal information to the research themselves if they want.
