A big weekend is underway at MetraPark with three big events taking place on the grounds.
On Friday, both the Billings Gun Show and the Home Improvement Show got underway in the Montana Pavilion and the Expo Center.
Masks or facial coverings are required for entry.
On Friday night, the PBR opens its three-day run inside the First Interstate Arena. MetraPark Director of Marketing Ray Massie says fans should be prepared for "pod seating" inside the arena.
"Pod seating is a way that we make sure that people have a safe zone around them, much like the six-foot social distancing that we're all accustomed to these days," said Massie. "Pod seating means, for example, a family of four, you're sitting here, two seats to your left, two seats to your right, the row in front of you and behind you are all empty to make sure you have plenty of space around you."
Massie explained that most of the pods on sale at the PBR this weekend will be sold in twos, threes, and fours.
"We sell them all as one group, so it's not a matter of buying a ticket one at a time, you buy the entire pod at one time," said Massie.
Massie pointed out that there is plenty of room at MetraPark for all three events to take place concurrently.
"We have no concerns at all about the number of events happening at one time," Massie said. "We're going to be able to have each event properly separated. They are taking care of the individual protocols worked out with the county health department, and we're all set for a great weekend of activity at MetraPark."
Parking in the Carnival Lot, inside the Metra grounds, is closed off due to construction this weekend. Massie said both the middle and upper parking lots on both sides of the Metra are open.
Doors for Friday's PBR performance open at 6:25 p.m., with the event set to begin at 7:45 p.m.
For Saturday night's show, the doors open at 5:15 p.m. with the event starting at 6:45 p.m.
Sunday's round begins at 1:45 p.m., with doors opening at 12:15 p.m.
Sunday's PBR will be also be broadcast by the CBS Sports Network.
