BILLINGS - A woman and two children were taken to the hospital with minor injuries Thursday morning following a four-vehicle crash on Grand Avenue.
The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Sixth Street West.
According to Sgt. Shane Winden with the Billings Police Department, the woman was traveling north on Sixth Street West and attempted cross all four lanes of Grand Avenue when her vehicle was struck by a Honda Element.
The Honda came to rest on the sidewalk, and the woman's vehicle spun out, hitting two more vehicles.
The female driver and her two passengers, a 5-year-old and a 4-year-old, were taken to a Billings hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Winden said the woman was at fault for the crash.
Everyone involved was properly restrained, and it does not appear alcohol or drugs were a factor.
The crash blocked the westbound lanes of Grand Avenue and slowed traffic.
