The Alberta Bair Theater will delay the opening of its new season indefinitely due to COVID-19.
Crews are working to renovate the theater, and it wasoriginally scheduled to reopen in September.
Theater management said reopening guidelines along with health and safety led to the decision.
Social distancing with reduced capacity also made reopening not attainable, according to theater officials.
The theater's program director is working to get events rescheduled and an announcement will be made as soon as possible.
