Big Horn County reported one new case of COVID-19 Thursday afternoon, bringing the county's total cases to 43.

The new case is a man in his 30s who was symptomatic. His case is not known to be associated with other clusters in Big Horn County, Health Officer Rhonda Johnson said in a news release.

Big Horn County now has 23 active COVID-19 cases and 19 recoveries. Eighteen people are quarantining at home, and five are hospitalized, according to the county. One person has died.

This new case, along with new Lewis and Clark and Custer county cases reported Thursday, brings Montana's total COVID-19 cases to 566, with 61 active cases.

MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
