Billings firefighters have declared a red flag warning day, indicating extreme fire danger, because of wildfires in the region.
Fires are burning in Garfield, Musselshell, Big Horn and Rosebud counties, and shifting winds have sent significant smoke into Billings and Yellowstone County.
Firefighters are on scene at all fires, and fire resources are limited, according to Billings Fire Chief Bill Rash.
Call 911 if you see active flames.
