BILLINGS - The Billings Public Library is hosting a remote program, encouraging community members to send letters in the mail to senior citizens living in area senior living facilities.

Called "SOS Mail," or "Send Our Seniors Mail," the program runs from April 1 to April 30.

"Due to social distancing and quarantines, many seniors are beginning to feel the effects of isolation. We encourage you to make a card, draw a picture or write a letter to someone in our community residing at a senior living facility. This small act can make a big difference in the life of a local senior," Kelsie Rubich, outreach librarian, said in a press release.
